Kalray is headquarted in Montbonnot, near Grenoble.
Ranked as the 5th most innovative city in the world by Forbes, Grenoble Alpes is an internationally recognized hub for electronics, digital technologies, microtechnologies, nanotechnologies, computer science and AI (Artificial Intelligence).

As the birthplace of microelectronics in France, Grenoble Alpes accounts for one-third of French jobs in this sector. The capital of the Alps has also been chosen to be one of France’s four Multidisciplinary Institutes in Artificial Intelligence (MIAI).

"What I like about Kalray is innovation, the diversity of the work - being able to work on different topics that are very rewarding - and the interaction with all the teams. I am in charge of chip validation on prototyping platforms, which is an integral part of the MPPA® processor development process. I had the opportunity to set up the whole prototyping environment during my time at Kalray. This consists of validating the circuit at the system level before the tape-out stage and speeding up the verification of the chip before it goes into production.
