WHAT YOU 'LL BE DOING:

As a Floating-point RTL Designer, you will be part of the CPU and coprocessor design team (20 people), in charge of the full development of the new generation of high-performance processors in advanced technology nodes. Your role will encompass CPU architecture, micro architecture, design, power optimization, synthesis and you will support the physical design and verification teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Definition of the operators needed to cover the product use cases in partnership with the system architecture team.
  • Architecture, RTL design and verification of the floating-point operators needed for next gen AI workload.
  • Area and power optimizations to meet product PPA target
  • Technology watch of operator usage and state-of-the-art implementations

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Skills: 

  • Strong interest in CPU architecture and computer arithmetic.
  • Floating-point arithmetic and operator design
  • Knowledge of power optimization techniques
  • RTL design (VHDL or Verilog)
 

Profile:

  • Graduate Engineer or PhD in Embedded Software or equivalent
  • Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Preferably possess direct CPU design experience.
  • Curious, autonomous, Rigorous
  • Strong teamwork skills

  • Type of contract: Permanent contract
  • Starting date: As soon as possible
  • Location: Montbonnot /Sophia Antipolis/100% remote possible
  • Hybrid Work if based close to one of our sites.
