WHAT YOU ‘LL BE DOING:

As a Financial accountant, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Maintain the general ledger and sub-ledger accounting records, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of all accounting entries.
  • Prepare and review accruals, provisions, prepaid expenses, and other accounting adjustments.
  • Pand process supplier payments in a timely manner.
  • Monitor cash flow, treasury activities, and financial transactions.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile general ledger and balance sheet accounts.
  • Verify the accuracy and integrity of the company’s accounting data, identifying and resolving discrepancies where necessary.
  •  Prepare tax returns and statutory tax declarations.
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities in accordance with French GAAP, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal control processes.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing the required documentation and responding to auditors’ requests.
 

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • Experience with ERP systems is a plus
  • Fluent in French with professional working proficiency in technical English (written and spoken)

 

Profile:

  • BTS, DUT, or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial accounting
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Autonomous, meticulous and proactive
  • Collaborative team player with strong organizational and communication skills
