WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Kalray Compute Business Line is working on cutting-edge markets where compute processing is key, such as AI, Edge Computing, Robotics, Medical, and many others. Within this BL, you will integrate the Applications team, in charge of pre-sales activities (demonstration, prototyping, benchmarking) and customer evaluation support.
As a SW Application Engineer, you will be the main interface to understand, address and track technical developments required for customer projects or pre-sales in a team of 5 people.
Responsabilities:
- Interacting directly with customers to support their evaluations of Kalray technology and their initial prototyping and developments
- Evaluating new solutions and algorithms, including new neural networks architectures
- Optimizing specific code to highlight Kalray solution strength.
- Developing prototypes leveraging Kalray solution strength
- Benchmarking Kalray solutions vs. competition
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Skills:
- Good knowledge of Linux environment
- Good knowledge of multicore solutions paradigms (Pthread and/or OpenCL/Cuda)
- Customer support ability
- Knowledge of computer vision libs (OpenCV, OpenVX) and machine learning technology (TensorFlow, Caffe) would be a plus
- Knowledge of application middleware (e.g. ROS) and communication layers (TCP/UDP, DDS) would be a plus
Profile:
- Graduate Engineer or PhD in Embedded Software or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in similar position
- 5+ years of embedded software applications development, debug and optimization
- Comfortable in building trustful relationship with customer
- Enjoy collaborative work
- Be flexible and autonomous
- Proficient in English, written and spoken
